PRESS RELEASE

Houston Motorsport artist to donate proceeds of paintings affected by hurricane harvey to flood victims

HOUSTON, TX (October 10, 2017) — Since 2001, Houston native Kevin Paige has shared his fine art with motorsport enthusiasts across the globe. His oil, acrylic, and watercolor pieces are highly sought and hang in the homes of Nico Rosberg, mark Webber, Valtteri Bottas and other renowned Formula One champions and drivers. Kevin's art has garnered a following of Formula 2 and MotoGP art collectors who commission him to capture the speed, colors, and majesty found in the spirit of motorsports.

In August, Kevin, along with thousands of others along the Texas Gulf Coast, was hit hard by Hurricane Harvey. His home and studio, pummeled from days of wind and rain, eventually flooded when a nearby reservoir overflowed into the surrounding community as Harvey's constant rainfall overwhelmed its boundaries. When the dam spilled over for the first time in its history, Kevin's home - along with many unreleased pieces of his art - fell victim to the floodwaters.

As devastating as this was for him, Kevin is all too aware of the others who completely lost their homes, their way oflife and so much more. His original artwork, damaged in this catastrophic event, now tells a story - one of passion and perserverance - and one that he wants to share to benefit his community as a whole. After undergoing partial restoration, these damaged paintings will be offered up for acution as part of the "Kevin Paige Art: Helping Houston Heal" collection at the Ferrari Club of America Formula 1 Reception this October. All proceeds from these and other original Kevin Paige Art paintings sold at this private event will go to the Houston Food Bank, a key relief organization providing meals during and after Hurricane Harvey. Every $1 donated provides a full day of meals for Gulf Coast neighbors in need.
